Schools and Teachers
From its creation in 1907, through two World Wars and for most of the Twentieth Century, Brooklands was a centre for breaking speed records, motor racing, advances in science and technology and where thousands of aircraft were built, tested and flown.
Now, through a year-round programme of meticulously prepared activities and workshops, pupils and students can explore this world whilst simultaneously augmenting their studies in Mathematics, the Sciences, History, Geography, English, Design and Media.
How would your students like to sit inside a real aircraft and chat to a volunteer who could tell them what it was like to fly in it? Or maybe make a film on one of our iPads after driving a Formula 1 simulator car around the Brooklands race track? We have real people, real exhibits that move and inspire in a unique environment.
